Activities presented in Jelgava (4)
The 4th activity presented in Jelgava consisted in sharing techniques to create, or explaining the clothing of medieval peoble. The works the different countries presented were:
- France: Even when in Jelgava French students showed them the way knights and woman used to dress in the Middle Ages, later, they shared with us this presentation about the way sailor were dressed in the Middle Ages:
Students from France also performed a Fashion show dress in Medieval clothes:
- Greece: Greece showed us the characteristics of the dressing of Orthodox Priest. First of all, they showed us a video:
But they also presented the work they did:
Finally, during the meeting in Trikala, they recorded this video about orthodox priest:
During the same meeting they also showed us the traditional clothes of Karagouna, as can be seen in this video:
- Italy: Italian students were studying about the use of oil, and the production of oil in Middle Ages in their region. Here, the power point they presented:

- Latvia: Latvia, as the host country, prepared a workshop to create different decorative elements:

- Poland: Polish Students studied Knights, presenting the following power point:

- Spain: Spanish students described the way a Christian Knight used to dress for fighting but also for their daily life. You can see here the video.
During the Meeting in Calatayud, they also showed us a way to create coins , even when it was not exactly the process used during the Middle Ages:
And also, we could see the process of manufacturing wax candles:
