Activities presented in Jelgava (2)

Second activity presented in Jelgava has been  Medieval Food. Different countries have been studying how did Medieval People eat, and have collected some medieval recipes to be all included in an e-book.

Here you can see what did the different countries discovered:

  • France: French students studied particularities about Medieval Breton Food, and they presented the following power point:

  • Greece: In Greece, they also studied  how people used to eat during the Middle Ages, and wrote a document were they  collected everything they found.

They also shared with us this video showing us how to prepare a Medieval Recipe:

  • Italy: Italian students were studying about Medieval Food. Here, the power point they presented:

 

And finally,  they also presented the following video about the ovens in Bitonto:

They also presented the following power point about olive oil in the Middle Ages in their region:

  • Latvia: Latvia studied the ir Medieval eating uses, and  shared some recipes. This is the power point they presented:

  • Poland: Poland also prepared the following  power point with everything they learnt  about medieval food:

  • Spain: In Spain, a Medieval Cooking contest took part to make the students discover what did people used to eat during the Middle Agees, and how they did cook it. Here you can see the Power Point they presented, but also the recipe  winning of the contest.

With all the recipes collected by the different countries, we created this Cooking Book:
